Retired BT engineer and printer sadly passed away on the 1st June aged 82 years. Dearly loved and missed by wife Anne and daughter Elaine. Dorothy Joan (Joan) Chadwin

(Joan) Passed away peacefully at home on 13th June 2024. Beloved wife of the late Roy. A wonderful and much loved Mum to Anita, Paul and partner Christine, who will be sadly missed by everyone. Andrea Graves (nee Parr)

(nee Parr) Andrea passed away peacefully on 18th June 2024. Sadly missed by her son Paul, dearly loved by her family and friends. Funeral service to take place at Wilford Hill Crematorium, Nottingham, on Tuesday 16th July at 10.30am. Donations in lieu of flowers to The Labrador Dog Charity. Remaining forever in our hearts and thoughts. Dress code discretionary. Her beloved son Paul will be personally taking Andrea on a tour of Arnold, a place where she was born and worked for a considerable part of her life within the Boots Pharmacy, Front Street, Arnold.

Kenneth Anthony (Ken) Hall

(Ken) Passed away suddenly but peacefully at Queens Hospital Burton with his family by his side, on Sunday 16th June 2024 aged 76. Beloved husband of the late Gillian, a dearly loved dad of Dina, Darren, Wayne and Adrian. Father in Law to Michelle, Pete & Lisa. Brother to Ronald, John, George and Sister Margaret. Loving Uncle, Grandad & Great Grandad. Ken will be truly missed by all who knew him. All will keep a special place in their heart for him. Richard Jones

With great sadness I hereby announce the passing of my father Mr Richard Jones. Upon his wishes he will be cremated without ceremony and his Ashes to be returned with myself to the Isle of Wight for his final resting place. At my father's request, any donations to the Salvation Army would be greatly appreciated.

Janet Levey

Janet's family are sad to announce her death at the City Hospital, Nottingham on 13th June 2024 after several periods of illness aged 87 years old. Janet was much loved and leaves behind her partner, her four children, eight grandchildren and Sam the cat. Janet studied for a degree whilst raising her family and was proud to be a teacher at Bluebell Hill Junior School (dates??). She was a keen supporter of Nottingham Forest but disliked cricket. On holiday Janet could often be found fishing and then enjoying cooking the results of her catch. Janet was never to be interrupted when Coronation Street was on. Everyone who her knew her well will think of her fondly whenever a glass of sherry is poured. Janet will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Frances Mary MCCULLOCH (Craig)

(Craig) Surrounded by family on Wednesday 19th June 2024 aged 93 years. Beloved wife of Iain (decd) for 68 years, much loved mum to Kate, Fiona and Sue, loving big sister to Alan Craig, treasured aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother. Frances, who lived in Plumley in her latter years and formerly of Glasgow and Nottingham, will be remembered with great love and affection by her family and friends. Valerie Ann (Val) Robinson

Val Passed away on the 9th of June 2024 at the age of 79 years. Val was an active member of Long Eaton Bowls Club. Funeral Details Val will be received into Church the night before her funeral at St Francis of Assisi Church, Tamworth Road Long Eaton on Thursday 11th July at 7pm. A Funeral Mass for Val will be held on Friday 12th July 2024 at 11am and all who knew Val are welcome to attend. Following the Mass, a Committal service will then be held at Bramcote Crematorium - Serenity Chapel at 12:30pm. At a later date Val's cremated Remains will be laid to rest at Longmoor Lane Cemetery.
