This week, we’re getting to know a key member of our Sales team, matt bayford!1.What’s your job title?I am a Technical Sales Manager – primarily, my role is to research and identify new business opportunities for the Angstrom Technology Projects Division. This includes new markets, growth areas, trends, customers and partnerships and identifying new ways of reaching existing markets. On many occasions, this will lead to me identifying new opportunities for all divisions across the business, such as Cleanroomshop, Validation and Calibration, or Cleanroom Training.2.What’s your favourite thing about being part of the Angstrom Technology team? I love the fact that once I have identified and found a new business opportunity, whatever the division within the company, we have the skills, knowledge, and expertise to provide the best solution or product for our customer. I have total confidence that once finding an opportunity it will be dealt with swiftly and professionally.3.How do you achieve success in your role?In my role you need to be resilient, focused and very proactive. Researching target markets and developing a strategy to build relationships with prospective customers is critical.4.Tell us a surprising or fun fact about youI’m the only person in my family who can’t speak Thai!
