Hannah Storm (Full Name: Hannah Lynn Storen Hicks) is a popular American award-winning television sports journalist. Currently, she works as the anchor of ESPN’s SportsCenter. On May 10, 2008, Hannah joined ESPN.

Before ESPN, she handled premier events during her time at NBC Sports from 2002 to 2007 and CNN from 1989 to 1992, where she became the number one female host of CNN Sports Tonight. Following graduation, Hannah took a job as a disc jockey in Corpus Christi, Texas, at KNCN (C-101). After six months, Hannah began working as the drive-time sportscaster and traffic reporter at a Houston rock station KSRR 97 Rock.

She stayed in Houston for four years doing several radio and television works, such as hosting the Houston Rockets halftime and postgame shows. Hannah also worked on Houston Astros postgame shows on KTXH television. She was a weekend sports anchor at WCNC-TV 36 (initially WRET) in Charlotte, North Carolina, from 1988 until 1989. Hannah moved to CNN from there.

Burns Accident

Hannah was grilling dinner for her children on December 11, 2012, and tried to relight her grill after the wind blew it out causing an explosion. Hannah endured second-degree burns to her chest and hands, and first-degree burns to her neck and face due to a propane gas grill accident at her home.

Her daughter called 911 to inform them about the incident. Hannah lost her eyebrows, eyelashes, and about half her hair. Following getting medical care from the Burn Center at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, New York, Hannah came back on air on January 1, 2013. Hannah was seriously burned in December 2012 while preparing to make dinner for her kids.
