Week 13 provided more fireworks around the NFL landscape.
The New York Giants and Washington Commanders played to a draw in their NFC East divisional matchup. The Philadelphia Eagles continued to soar this season and the Detroit Lions outpaced the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Injuries also headlined the week. Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson exited with a knee injury. As a result, Ravens backup Tyler Huntley was called upon and he delivered with a game-winning touchdown drive.
In the afternoon slate, Joe Burrow outdueled Patrick Mahomes in an AFC Championship rematch between the Cincinnati Bengals and Kansas City Chiefs. Both Jimmy Garoppolo and Tua Tagovailoa suffered injuries in their game, but it was the San Francisco 49ers who outdueled the Miami Dolphins in a clash of power.
Week 13 concludes with a pivotal NFC South battle between the New Orleans Saints and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Here's a rundown of all the Week 13 action around the NFL.
Buffalo Bills 24, New England Patriots 10
Briefly: The Bills won their third game in a 12-day stretch on Thursday night. Buffalo relied on their rushing attack to neutralize the Patriots. Bills rookie James Cook recorded 105 scrimmage yards on 20 touches. He averaged 4.6 yards per carry in the victory. The Patriots were held to just 242 total yards and finished a disappointing 3-for-12 on third down. Patriots quarterback Mac Jones finished 22-of-36 for 195 yards and a touchdown.
One highlight to know: Patriots cornerback Marcus Jones' first NFL catch was memorable. He hauled in a 48-yard reception in the first quarter. This season, Jones also has a game-winning punt return touchdown.
Next up: The Patriots face the Arizona Cardinals in Week 14. The Bills renew their AFC East rivalry against the New York Jets.
Minnesota Vikings 27, New York Jets 22
Briefly:The Vikings held on late to improve to 10-2 this season. Minnesota established their rushing attack early as backfield duo Dalvin Cook and Alexander Mattison combined for two touchdowns. The Jets kept pace with 16 second-half points to climb back into the game. However, the Vikings forced two turnovers, including a late interception inthe fourth quarter. Vikings safety Camryn Bynum sealed the game with the turnover as the Vikings held on at home.
One highlight to know:The Vikings jumped out to a 10-3 lead as Dalvin Cook scored a 4-yard touchdown run.
Next up:The Jets will play the Buffalo Bills in Week 14. The Vikings face the Detroit Lions.
Baltimore Ravens 10, Denver Broncos 9
Briefly:Ravens quarterback Tyler Huntley didn't start in Week 13, but he ended the game in grand fashion. Huntley was pressed into duty after Ravens star Lamar Jackson exited with a knee injury. In the fourth quarter, Huntley led a 16-play, 91-yard drive that he capped with a game-winning2-yard touchdown. The Broncos held the Ravens to just 285 total yards. However, the Broncos continued to struggle offensively. Denver was 2-for-12 on third down. Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson completed 17 of 22 passes for 189 yards. Baltimore improved to 8-4 this season but all eyes will be Jackson's status heading into Week 14.
One highlight to know:Ravens quarterback Tyler Huntley stepped up in backup duty and delivered with a two-yard touchdown. He finished 27 of 32 for 187 yards. Huntley also added 41 rushing yards.
Next up:The Broncos will host the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 14. The Ravens play the Pittsburgh Steelers in an AFC North clash.
Washington Commanders 20,New York Giants 20
Briefly:The NFC East race got another wrinkle as the Commanders and Giants held serve in Week 13. This is the second NFL game to end in a tie this season. The Commanders generated 411 yards of total offense.Commanders star Terry McLaurin recorded eight catches for 105 yards and a touchdown. Meanwhile, Giants running back Saquon Barkley had 81 total yards.The Giants were held scoreless in the fourth quarter and overtime. However, New York had a chance to win the game in the final seconds of overtime. Giants kicker Graham Gano missed a 58-yard field goal that led to the tie game.
One highlight to know:Commanders receiver Jahan Dotson hauled in a 28-yard touchdown with 1:45 remaining in the fourth quarter. The score tied the game and sent it into overtime.
Next up:The Commanders are on a bye week. The Giants host the Philadelphia Eagles in an NFC East divisional matchup.
Green Bay Packers 28, Chicago Bears 19
Briefly:Packers receiver Christian Watson continuedhis magical rookie campaign with two touchdowns against the Bears. Watson hauled in three catches for 48 yards and a score. He also added a 46-yard rushing touchdown in the fourth quarter. The Bears were outscored 18-3 in the second half as the Packers neutralized star quarterback Justin Fields. The talented signal-callerthrew two lateinterceptions that proved costly. The Packers improved to 5-8 overall. The Bears dropped to 3-10 this season.
One highlight to know:Christian Watson scored his eighth touchdown in four games with a 46-yard run. He displayed his speed as he raced past defenders into the end zone.

Philadelphia Eagles 35, Tennessee Titans 10
Briefly:The Eagles earned their 11th win this season. Philadelphia is clicking on all cylinders and showcased their entire arsenal against the Titans. Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts added to his MVP resume with 380 passing yards and four total touchdowns. Eagles receivers A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith combined for 13 catches, 221 yards and three scores. The Titans were held scoreless after halftime. Tennessee superstar Derrick Henry finished with just 30 rushing yards in the loss.
One highlight to know:Eagles receiver A.J. Brown hauled in a 40-yard touchdown to extend the lead in the third quarter.

Pittsburgh Steelers 19, Atlanta Falcons 16
Briefly:The Steelers won their 16th game in the all-time series against the Falcons at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Steelers cornerback Minkah Fitzpatrick intercepted Falcons quarterback Marcus Mariota in the fourth quarter to thwart a late rally. The Steelers controlled the time of possession and collected 22 first downs. It was a big day for tight end Pat Freiermuth. He hauled in three catches for 75 yards. The Falcons struggled offensively. Falcons quarterback Marcus Mariota finished 13 of 24 for 167 yards and recorded the lone touchdown in the loss.
One highlight to know:Steelers tight end Pat Freiermuth rumbled for a 50-yard reception in the second quarter. It set up a first-half touchdown that extendedthe Steelers'lead.
Next up:The Falcons are on a bye week. The Steelers play the Baltimore Ravens.
Cleveland Browns 27, Houston Texans 14
Briefly:Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson made his return to Houston and walked away with a big victory. Watson was rusty as he saw his first game action in nearly 700 days. However, the Browns defense helped pick him up. The Browns scored two defensive touchdowns, including a fumble and interception return. Houston dropped to 1-10-1 this season. Texans running back Dameon Pierce bounced back with 73 yards on 18 carries.
One highlight to know:Browns receiver Donovan Peoples-Jones scored a 76-yard punt return touchdown. He showed his elite speed as he raced past defenders in the second quarter.
Next up:The Browns host the Cincinnati Bengals in the Battle of Ohio. The Texans play the Dallas Cowboys.
Detroit Lions 40, Jacksonville Jaguars 14
Briefly:The Lions put their offense on full display against the Jaguars. Several Lions playmakers got into the scoring act. Lions receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown scored two receiving touchdowns. Backfield duo Jamaal Williams and D'Andre Swift both had rushing scores. The Jaguars fell behind early and never recovered. The Lions accounted for 266 total yards in the loss. Trevor Lawrence finished 17 of 31 for 179 yards and a touchdown.
One highlight to know:Lions receiver DJ Chark hauled in a 41-yard reception early in the first quarter that set up the second touchdown of the day.

Seattle Seahawks 27, Los Angeles Rams 23
Briefly: Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith was 28 for 39 passing for 367 yards and three touchdowns in a pivotal NFC West showdown that saw Seattle pick up a hard-fought road victory. Rams running back Cam Akers tallied a pair of rushing touchdowns, but backup QB John Wolford threw two interceptions in a quiet performance.
One highlight to know: Smith found DKMetcalf for an 8-yard touchdown to give the Seahawks a lead with 36 seconds left.
Next up:The Seahawks host the Carolina Panthers. The Rams host the Las Vegas Raiders.
San Francisco 49ers 33, Miami Dolphins 17
Briefly: Rookie quarterback Brock Purdy was pressed into duty after Jimmy Garoppolo exited with injury and threw for a pair of touchdowns in a win. Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa connected for a pair of long TD passes, but was inaccurate as Miami failed to convert a single third down in the game. Tagovailoa also suffered an ankle injury in the loss.
One highlight to know: 49ers defender Dre Greenlaw recovered a fumble and returned it33 yards for a touchdown to ice the game with 1:53 left. Nick Bosa forced the turnover.
Briefly: The 49ers host the Las Vegas Raiders. The Dolphins visit the Los Angeles Chargers.
Las Vegas Raiders 27, Los Angeles Chargers 20
Briefly: The Chargers' playoff hopes took a massive hit as the Raiders kept their season alive with a pivotal AFC West victory. Davante Adams (eight catches, two touchdowns) and Josh Jacobs (150 all-purpose yards) were workhorses for the Las Vegas offense. Meanwhile, the Chargers managed just 72 yards rushing in a game in which Los Angeles QB Justin Herbert amassed 341 total yards despite the loss.
One highlight to know: Vegas took the lead on a 13-yard connection between quarterback Derek Carr and Adams.
Briefly: The Raiders visit the Los Angeles Rams. The Chargers host the Miami Dolphins.
Cincinnati Bengals 27, Kansas City Chiefs 24
Briefly: In a rematch of last year's AFC championship game, the Bengals again prevailed by a field goal in a hotly contested affair. Bengals QB Burrow threw for 286 yards and scored three total touchdowns in a win that helped Cincinnati keep pace in the fight for the AFC North crown. Meanwhile, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes led a valiant effort from Kansas City, but it wasn't enough in this star-studded matchup.
One highlight to know: Chris Evans doesn't play very often, but he came out of the backfield for the final go-ahead Cincinnati score with 8:54 left.
Briefly: The Bengals host the Cleveland Browns. The Chiefs visit the Denver Broncos.
Indianapolis Colts at Dallas Cowboys

The Cowboys are rolling and have a 5-1 home record.
New Orleans Saints at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

What to know: The Buccaneers hold a half-game lead in the NFC South as the rival Saints arrive to Raymond James Stadium. This is a pivotal game for both teams. A win will put either team in a good spot to control the division.
