Clean and nice, beautiful! Free!
But if you’d like to do the fishing, need fishing licenses.

You may see lots of Dolphins and big ships.

Many gazeboes with branches or picnic tables.
Two clean restrooms and lots of parking lots.
I don't see the parking line but it seems they are working on it soon.

Good place for kids later, because see the sign that coming to a nice playground.

2 fishing piers with fish cleaning tables.

What a beautiful, well-used, well designed park. In the process of a complete refurbishment with new streets and they have new playground equipment on the way. I've visited several times and have seen people not just fishing but catching.
To top it all off is the amount of huge ship traffic 100 feet away. During busy times, the ships are going through every 15 minutes from every corner of the world.
Overall, it was a very enjoyable park with great Texas families galore.

A very beautiful, calm park with spectacular views of water. This places was one of the highlights because not only it has amazing views, you could spend your day here watching ships and boats go by. We spend around an hour in the park yesterday watching the ships and it was so mindful. We also spotted some dolphins and turtles and it was spectacular. The wildlife, nature and us, I felt how much we are connected with each other.

They also have very clean restrooms, lots of picnic tables and chairs. They also have a beautiful pier where you can walk and enjoy the view. We also spotted the red dragon pirate ship while we were on the park and it was so fun watching them.

Saw a bottlenose dolphin playing frisbee with a stingray. We had exceptionally beautiful views and a peaceful experience one cold night sitting on a bench under a blanket and the next gorgeous day walking around catching sunshine.

Enjoyable place to just hang out if you relaxing or need a place to chill. The pier, seawall and jetties are a nice place to fish from with all sort of fish you can catch. It's right by the sea channel and marina so you see all sort of boats and ships come and go.

What a Beautiful park! We had the joy of a porpoise follow us along the sea wall giving us
a show. Pleasant day for a walk, visiting others with dogs and some people testing their luck at fishing. Not far from the ferry crossing.

Not going to lie, probably one of my favorite parks to take the kids to. Parts of it are under construction, but it's not loud or disruptive. Nice walking path, people fishing, large playground with benches, and an observation tower. If you find a large ship coming through, wait and watch. Chances are you'll see dolphins riding the bow(front) wake. Easiest way for us to get there is the ferry. It's free and they direct you very well on where you're suppose to go to enter and exit.

Great area for fishing and boat watching. This is where the ferry goes through so the main land is just right there. We also fed the Sea Turtles shrimp.

Highly recommend this area. Unfortunately, you cannot get out of your car on the ferry that lands in this park but the park itself is awesome. Clean restrooms, great play area. Love watching the ships come into the channel and tons of dolphins to watch. We found a whole colony of hermit crabs. Noone fishing in our area caught a fish but they had fun trying!

We cane here every morning when we were in town. Great toys for kids, but not much shade so lack sunscreen. There are dolphins swimming by the seawall in the morning which is so fun to watch. Bathrooms are well kept and park was clean.

I cannot stress the fact that this park is amazing. Its well maintained and has plenty of benches to sit and watch the dolphins, ships, and other wildlife along the channel. I have sat on a bench for hours and never realized how long I'd been there. This park is a definite place to visit if you need to unwind and relax for a moment. Which is weird to even say considering you're right by miles of beautiful beaches.

What a great park! Plenty to do for all 3 of our kids ranging in ages from 1-9. Also a great spot to watch the ferries and other boats go by.

Clean, spacious, and right next to the ferry and deep water channel.

There is a ton of grass, benches, and shade, as well as a massive playground for the kids.

The bathroom facilities are excellent as well. We've found this a great place to relax and watch the boats, including a local pirate ship we caught cruising around.
